Back in 2005 the New Oxford American Dictionary named "podcasting" its word of the year. At that point It certainly looked like the downloadable audio and video programs would radically change the way we consume media, and would empower amateurs to become popular producers. Podcasting is indeed changing the game, but perhaps not as quickly as the dictionary folks might have guessed. Less
