When we set out to create the label, we thought of what needed to be changed in the industry, how the artists could interact more with the fans, and vice-versa. The blogs have created a whole new way for the fans to critique and share music, dealing directly with artists. But the one thing that was missing was that though a lot of the music was free, it was all one-sided. Beyond the artist giving a free track to the blog, who in turn gave it to readers and fans worldwide, thats where the process ended. Today we're announcing that with every single Subdrive release, we plan to include 100% DRM-free stems from the single. These are also available in the highest-quality possible, and by buying them, you are directly supporting the artists. We don't take a cut of these sales at all. We want everyone, not just producers and professionals, to have the oppotunity to try their hand at a remix. And if we hear something we like, we'll release it and give a cut of the profit to the remixer!
