<description>Special guest, artist Jacqui Melman, discusses her work, giclee reproductions, visions for the future, and her career. Discussions also include the Michael Jackson trial, dining out in central New Jersey, and more. While any reasonable mind would have to concede that Michael Jackson was up to sordid goings on, perhaps pedofelia, that actual case that he is being prosecuted on is thin at best and preposterous at close inspection. The question is, if one can determine that he is certainly guilty and deserving of punishment, yet innocent of the specific charges that are being bought against him, should be be acquited? Do the ends justify the means? Do they ever? What are the costs to trying to see that justice is served despite having to go against the rules that are set forth?</description>

<description>What a television conflict this past thursday night! The season finale of The Apprentice and CSI , the latter of which was directed by Quentin Tarentino and much hyped for weeks. Thank the blessed lords of technology for satellite television, more specifically the concept of the west coast feed. Luckily, we were able to watch The Apprentice at 9 and then catch CSI on the west coast feed at 11:00. Why not just use your TIVO , the astute student of consumer electronics might query. Well, being addicted to high definition broadcasts and choosing to watch such enhanced programming exclusively, my series 2 Tivo has sadly become antiquated, as it is only able to record in standard definition, thus I don&#8217;t even have the ubiquitous program recorder hooked up. But say troubleshooter, don&#8217;t they now make a version of the tivo which can record HDTV ? Um, yes, they do, but do you know how much those boxes cost? That&#8217;s right, they are like $500. But say troubleshooter, don&#8217;t they now make a version of the tivo which can record HDTV ? Um, yes, they do, but do you know how much those boxes cost? That&#8217;s right, they are like $500. While I am the king of rationalization, I haven&#8217;t yet come up with one that will persuade me to drop such a large chunk of change on an item that I just KNOW will cost 1/3 of what it does now inside of 18 months. So it was that girl Kendra, from South Florida who got the nod to be the 3rd apprentice and giddyup for that. Her foe, Tana from Iowa, turned out to be such an obnoxious bore that I couldn&#8217;t bear the thought of her winning. Did you SEE when she started to take credit for that car brochure and the way she whoop whooped it up for the audience? Yikes! The CSI finale rocked. Since I&#8217;m a big fan of The Apprentice and ER, I don&#8217;t really watch CSI regularly, although I should. It&#8217;s really a great show. The finale, directed by Tarentino was superb, with agent Stokes being kidnapped and burried alive with nobody knowing his whereabouts. The episode had no shortage of Tarentinoisms, including a Dukes of Hazzard board game, colorful dialog drawing on the dark corners of popular culture, plenty of blood spattering gore, and a nice pile of dog intestines. So check out this, our first show, were we jam on current issues, pop culture, philosophy, and whatever comes to mind. In addition, we always try to solve our listeners problems, hence the name The Troubleshooter. If you have a problem that you&#8217;d like assistance with whether computer related, tax, relationship, wine, health, or anything else, if we don&#8217;t know the answer our crack researchers will find it out and answer it on our next podcast. If you have a problem you&#8217;d like answered on the show please send an email to thetroubleshooter@mac.com.</itunes:subtitle>
